the adventuring project where you can participate in the Lorica online role-playing wiki story, first initiated November 26, 2006 on the Novelas wikia. It currently has around 29 components on the Quest wikia, and 73 components on Novelas.

[edit] What is Lorica?

Lorica is an online role-playing wiki story, in which various pages (all of which have seven letters) are facets of a greater world, and which 'players' can explore to their heart's content using links in the text and the search engine on the sidebar, as well as help expand the world and talk about its components at the forum. The story evolves as users additional components, and is firmly based on the use of the search engine to 'teleport' between these components. A story can then be constructed using these components, but the order may vary, and later on will become unique for each individual 'player'. Therefore, much of Lorica is hidden; that is, it may be difficult to find what you are looking for, and each component when read isolated can confound the reader, but when synergized creates an intriguing world. The specifics of the system are introduced through an interactive tutorial to follow.

An ultimate objective of this world is to create an environment in which 'players' can feel closely attached to, and would be willing to write a story about their experiences in, as well as create a world in which everyone can come together and elaborate upon as a community. As the world expands, these journals can continually get longer, and each 'player' can write their own experiences in these journals. If you've written anything, be sure to add it on Novelas...
